Quick Tips

Grant microphone access

timml needs the microphone to hear your music. Go to Settings → timml → Microphone and enable it.

Play clearly for a few bars

timml needs 2–4 bars of steady playing to lock onto your tempo.

Reduce background noise

timml works best in a reasonably quiet room.

Try all three modes

Tap the icons in the header to switch between Organic, Tech and Retro Digital mode.

Use Apple Watch on stage

Put your iPhone aside and control timml from your wrist — tap tempo, switch styles, start and stop.

Sync with other apps via Link

Enable Ableton Link in the control panel to sync timml with GarageBand or any other Link-enabled app.

Make sure microphone permission is granted in Settings → timml. Then try playing more rhythmically for 4–8 bars.
Style detection is based on the energy and rhythmic character of your playing. Tap the style you want — timml will switch immediately.
timml has an auto-stop feature that detects silence. Tap the play button manually to keep it running.
Open the paywall and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID.
timml Pro unlocks all 12 drum styles, the Pattern Editor, Sound Packs, Generative Drummer, MIDI Sync, Ableton Link, Recording and Apple Watch control.
